The Haute Ticket

Musings of the fashion and beauty kind, with a little travel thrown in.

It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue

Pastels are a no-brainer come springtime, it’s almost as “groundbreaking” as florals, but let’s face it, even if you live in a sea of black or various shades of grey {the less cringy Dornan kind} admit it, you can’t help but like the odd shade of soft blush pink or pale baby blue.

It’s okay. It’s a reprieve from the onslaught of bleak weather and snow {ugh, we are SO over that, by the way} and don’t you think that we’ve maybe had enough grey? *gasp* Margaret has fallen off her chair and may never speak to me again for that.

Anyway, while I’m not sure how I feel about pink {personal issues but I’m working through them} I do like the odd pale blue. I think it reminds me of Lorelai Gilmore; she wore quite a bit of it and it always looked really pretty against her dark hair. I myself have dark hair so this intrigues me.

Anyway, I know Melania did that whole pale baby blue ensemble and maybe that taints it for you but whatevs your political opinion, that outfit was on point.

Going to pick up this brand new Benetton number now and make like Lorelai and get more coffee.

Thoughts on this baby blue number? Is it far too impractical? But I’m so over my puffer. For all my chat about how it’s a great big duvet, I’m done.

Over and out.
